Royal Palm (Roystonea regia)
Considered one of the most beautiful and prestigious palm varieties, it is called the "King of Palms" due to its luxurious and majestic appearance.
Characteristics:
A very smooth, light gray trunk with a slight bulge, usually at the base or mid-trunk.
Long, soft, feathery leaves that fall off naturally when dry, keeping the palm very clean and requiring minimal pruning.
It adds a touch of luxury and sophistication, especially when planted in parallel rows.
Uses: Widely used in the entrances of palaces, luxury hotels, and resorts.
Note: It requires rich soil and ample water, and is less tolerant of salinity and drought compared to the two previously mentioned varieties.
